Caramel * In a pot, add: * 1 cup brown sugar * ½ cup butter * ¼ cup corn syrup * Pinch of salt * Cook over medium heat while stirring. * Let it bubble for about 4–5 minutes until smooth and glossy. * Remove from heat. Peanut Brittle * In a pan, add: * 1 cup sugar * ½ cup corn syrup * ¼ cup water * Cook over medium heat until it turns golden amber. * Stir in: * 1 cup peanuts * 1 tablespoon butter * 1 teaspoon baking soda * Quickly pour onto parchment paper. * Let it cool completely until hard.
