Last year I started REALLY struggling with intrusive thoughts like this and had no idea what was happening. I was constantly dealing with intrusive images/thoughts and my brain telling me that meant I wanted those things to happen, and even trying to convince me I’d always wanted them. I don’t even know how I was functioning. It was terrifying.
I eventually searched intrusive thoughts on TikTok and found you and a few others. Hearing you talk about these taboo OCD themes helped me realize I wasn’t alone and that these thoughts didn’t make me a horrible person like my brain was telling me.
Understanding that this could actually be OCD gave me enough relief and clarity to finally reach out and get help. Your videos helped me more than you probably realize. Thank you for talking about this openly.

I saw a therapist. Gave me a piece of paper and told me to write down intrusive thoughts when I get them. Charged me $175 with no follow up. I could have figured that out myself.

I'm a relatively new follower and appreciate your insights so much. I don't personally struggle with OCD, but I have loved ones who do, and I am also autistic with my own anxieties and stigmatized behaviors, so I have such deep empathy for anyone who struggles with this. I also appreciate being able to learn and understand this more. So, thank you for your content. I sincerely appreciate it. ❤️

OCD has a way of hammering on you until you believe what it's telling you. I'm tired of having a bully in my head.

My son is 29 and suffers with OCD intrusive thoughts and has just had a diagnosis of ADHD and possible autistic disorder he says this absolutely consumes him. He is with a counsellor and it seems to be helping him that is his safe place to talk about the thoughts. Things definitely ramped up when his daughter was born 2 years ago. It scares me and really upsets me that he goes through this and he just wants to feel’normal’. He was issued venlafaxine a while ago

I was terrified to hold my first daughter on stairs because i felt like i would throw her off. I went 8 years before getting an OCD diagnosis. I still struggle and recently started on Prozac. Could postpartum trigger this? Or did it just come to light after having children?
