I love a colonoscopy-prep and all! After the prep you feel as clean as a whistle and light as air. I felt like Gwyneth Paltrow getting ready for the Oscars. Then the actual procedure is the most relaxing 45 minutes in a row I’ve had in a long time. You wake up completely refreshed. I’m a huge fan of the propofol/versed nap.

To all those now dreading your first colonoscopy, I’m going to be the voice of reason and truth. Neither the prep nor not eating for 24 hours is nowhere near as harrowing as she, and others make it out to be. It’s absolutely overplayed

You're missing out! I have a REALLY slow digestive track so don't eat for 48 hours! do prep on day one and then just starve on day two. It's the BEST!
