Curious to know more about that In-between area, and the river. Dawn and Janet say that going across the river is bad/dangerous, but the pastor and the choir kids were on the other side after they all crossed over. Is it actually bad? Why? Is that the final step? is the act of crossing the hard part?? idk why I'm so hung up on that damn river. I've also got a hunch that someone will get lost in their mirror memories, but by choice. I think it’s bc it was just her simply knowing of him/his death since they were in school at the same time. Not that she formed any sort of friendship with him. Maddie’s mom was shocked Maddie knew who he was, thinking she must’ve read about him or heard about him. But it helped to prove that Maddie actually met him
