I absolutely got roofied at the Abbey on my bday a few years ago! This is widely known and it’s allegedly the bartenders doing it! Luckily my husband was with me and got me home immediately.

I know at least 5 people who were drugged at The Abbey. I’ll never accept a drink from there that wasn’t made in front of me. And once it’s in my hand, I don’t put it down until I’m done.

I ONLY know two things about The Abbey- That the cast of VPR used to always party there & that women are often rugged. Literally heard about it back WHEN the cast would hang (& sometimes film) there. Years & years of hearing it!!

Oh 1000%! F that place!! I used to go there a lot & always felt safe, but never again! A few years ago I went there with my college best friend & his husband. I had one cocktail at dinner & one cocktail there. (I’m 5’10”, 145lbs, for reference, so not tiny) I almost immediately started feeling terrible, & they got me out of there. We live 10min away in Beverly Hills, & by the time I got home, I couldn’t walk, & my husband had to carry me upstairs to our bedroom. Thank God he’s a doctor & was able to watch me/treat me/etc. Had my friends not been as diligent as they were & gotten me out of there as quickly as they did, I’m worried things would have turned out much differently. I ABSOLUTELY THINK THE STAFF IS INVOLVED!!! You will never convince me otherwise.

My husband was drugged at a hotel bar down the street from Disney while we were there with our family for a trip. It was terrifying.
