ai is just a tool lady leave writing to people who care about writing with AI its the future get with it look up how Nokia lost the battle its the same mindset AI is here to stay flow with it dont replace human feelings just use it as a tool to 10x speed thats the goal and be honest it helps creatives a lot

like I don't use it. but I can get why people would because it can current there grammar and other stuff spellings. and it's still your own story just because AI is putting more details. it's still your story and you choose what to do in that story and the ending and everything. so I can get why people will use it.

I only use it for synonyms and for reviews (I tell it to act like a reader, but don't talk about anything that isn't already implied on the text. also I tell it that if there's something off It can say that it is off but it can't tell me how to fix it)

i never let it write for me, though i like to rant with it about my book and ask about pacing sometimes. also english isn't my first language and i'm currently on editing my first ever draft. it helped me a lot to learn about writing and pacing (i didn't know anything about writing a book before but i really wanted to try it out). it's really a passion of mine and hopefully become a profession some day. i get the hate of AI writing paragraphs of text for you but i don't think people shouldn't use it at all since it's a resource just like google or a lexicon. it really helps a lot in a variety of things in writing if you don't ever let it write for you.

I’ve seen lots of discourse around it being a beta reader for stories, to check logic and consistency but I think everyone should learn to read their own work not ai

i write all my story by myself per chapter and then I submit to AI and it corrects my grammar and paraphrase it. I still check the result multiple times because I control the whole story. I wont let AI write my story.

I absolutely do not allow AI give me a suggestion, then it wouldn't feel like an original idea of mine anymore. I just use it like I would normally use Google since that also as AI now....kinda like asking for synonyms of words or a cooler way to say a sentence.

It can be useful for brainstorming or even planning ideas, but the writing itself when it tries to take over it is so cringe. It’s so terrible.

Ah, yeah, I forget people use it and LEAVE it on final drafts. I was sharing about an wacky idea at 3am with an AI and it came up with an scene. I found it nice so I took it and rewrote the whole thing, sinonyms, rithm, the wording itself... I try not to let AI write anything for me if I want to share it with someone else, and specially don't allow it to change anything I've writen except if it's a spelling mistake.
