When you switched her to the goat milk did you gradually do it or just switch fully?

Following! Also afraid to try puree corn because he didn't tolerate the powder Similac Alimentum well, but does fantastic on the RTF.

If you’re worried, look up the milk ladder/dairy ladder. It basically slowly reintroduces dairy starting with milk baked into something and moving on up to straight up milk!

I accidentally gave him a regular yogurt pouch around 9 months and he did perfectly. He eats milk in foods now but just hit 1 so I’m not sure about regular milk yet but the calcium is the important thing!

We will be gradually reintroducing dairy using the ladder method. However our pediatrician recommends waiting until 9 months to begin reintroducing.

We’re on Similac Alimentum 🤢 Can’t wait for her to hit 6 months so we can try and incorporate regular formula again.

Our daughter was cow milk sensitive & our son was cows milk intolerant. We waited until our daughter was almost a year old before we did cows milk, my son ended up basically being lactose intolerant, he still does lactose free milk. For my daughter, yogurt was a good introduction for a little dairy, and it went well, she had no issues with yogurt.

My oldest daughter who is 9 now, had a cows milk protein allergy! She did in fact grow out of it… I would slowly introduce it though. It sounds like she is just sensitive too milk. My daughter would

Not cows milk, but my first has food allergies. Usually, if there is an allergy, they will react right away, though not necessarily on the first introduction. And the protocol for introduction is basically just to try it….

My plan since they think my daughter has cow milk protein allergy but I think now it just she had bad reflux we are on meds now and it’s so much better. She 5 1/2 months. We found that RTF Alumintum works for her pretty well but still has a little eczema on the cheeks. So we are going to try Kendamill goat and trial that. Since cow and goat protein are similar the likeliness of her having CMPA would be low. So after our goat milk trial I’m going to try adding some breast milk to her bottle and see how she does. Since I still have a good amount in the freezer

My son had no issues while breast feeding, I ate everything and he was fine. As soon as we started solids he had allergic reactions to dairy, eggs, and peanuts. We see an allergist now.
