Hi man my names Aaron I’m nearly 16 from Ireland and I’ve been learning trading for about 18 days. I’m on day 27 of the TJR bootcamp. I just wanted to ask how likely it is to become profitable if I dedicate myself to trading and make a living from it? I plan to also watch the ICT mentorship and other videos that can up my knowledge then after trade on demo for a few months and find a strategy before moving to a funded. I keep getting put down because of people my family know that didn’t succeed in trading that they’ve lost a lot of money but I’m determined to make it work. Any advice is appreciated, thanks 🤝

I mean, I use IB, Fib(on the IB, Volume Profile, VPA, and liquidity draws/ FVG/IFVG all in my technique, but I don’t just trade off one I use them in combination together to get a good high grade trade 1-2 times a day. Just using one setup doesn’t seem the most consistent to me atleast from my own experience, but I understand this take in the sense of if you are using them separately then multiple setups that might not actually be that great will show themselves and have you lose money or the techniques can clash.

terrible take, multiple strategies are safety nets, and can help alleviate the drawdowns of a single bad day/week/month. Although you'd need to test correlations so you're not just over-leveraging in disguise.
