I always go 1st party. I tell my adjuster what happened. Hopefully we not at fault but my car has to be fixed ASAP. I don't care about what the other person carries. I cover my vehicle because I need my vehicle.

Let me guess it’s either State Farm? Lol I never understand why adjusters never give their insurance the option to do this unless there is no coverage they make them wait and have them go through the other party.

I just love getting claimants telling me “my insurance said you’re at fault so I need to file through you and they closed my claim.” Meanwhile the claim is less than a day old lmao

I was told the Lizard 🦎 trains their adjusters to base liability solely on their insured’s statements if they aren’t given claimant information at the time of filing. I dunno how true that is, but based on my calls with them, I totally believe it.
