My ex and I have this kinda relationship. I’m friends with him, his gf and his first ex wife who is my step daughters mother (I helped raise her for 11 years and I’ll always claim her). We all celebrate holidays together. People think it’s so weird lol. It can be a little awkward sometimes but honestly the kids seeing and knowing we all love them and will do what is needed to make them happy and protected is the most important thing.
