Oh, girl, I have a threenager as well, and the sass and attitude are just a little too much at times. But I have been trying to talk to her and let her express her feelings, and if that doesn't work, then I have her sit down and cool down give her "bubble space" as her preschool says.

This kinda of "mean" stage is so positively awesome. 😁 Her brain is developing well, thinking, testing, & expressing (and don't forget, it leads to a video content for you, Mommy! 🤪) My son only went through the same "mean" period for about a week. My trick was... when he started to behave in an unacceptable manner, my eyes would turn wider & wider & he knew it was a big no no. Then, I'd explain what behavior would be acceptable for that situation. Easy peasy. My eyes are powerful. 🤪😳

Lots of positive praise when she is being nice or doing something kind that usually helps saying something what is something kind we can do right now .. etc focusing on important values.. exploring kindness and kind acts for her self and others 😁 hope this tips helps

I’m not a mom but I teach kindergarten and at the beginning of the year I do a lot of role playing to get them to see wanted behavior. Also lots and lots of talks about feelings. I know it’s so different as a mom but they do have big feelings for being tiny humans!

Have her count to 4, take a deep breath, and then have her explain why she’s being mean, then have her say “I will not….” Works like a charm for me! I teach 3’s lol
