She grew up believing she was home 🥺 Koda was adopted from us as a tiny puppy five years ago. She left with a family, a future, and the happy ending we celebrate every day. She learned what it meant to have people, a couch to curl up on, toys on the floor, treats in the kitchen, and kids to grow up beside. She thought she was chosen forever.🙏♥️ But five years later, that same family moved… and Koda was not invited to go with them.💔 Now she is back in a kennel, looking around like she is trying to understand what happened. 😔She remembers what it feels like to belong somewhere. She just doesn’t know why it was taken away.❤️‍🩹 Koda is five years old and truly the perfect family dog. She has lived with kids, dogs, and cats. She is affectionate, gentle, potty trained, and knows her commands. She loves toys, treats, and being close to her people.❤️ She has spent her whole life in a home, which makes watching her sit quietly in a kennel that much more heartbreaking. 💔She does not belong here. She belongs on a couch beside her people.❤️‍🩹 Koda also came to us heartworm positive, but her treatment will be fully covered by our shelter, even after adoption.🙏❤️ The last time Koda left our shelter, she was a puppy with her whole life ahead of her. Now she is waiting again, older, still so loving, still so hopeful, just wishing for a family who will truly mean forever this time.
