As someone who lived through that era, Nirvana paved away for all those bands. And there are no bad tracks on any of Nirvana‘s albums.

It took a little bit for 10 to even takeoff… remember it was not immediate hit in 91 not until 92 when the band released the Jeremy video that’s when Pearl Jam really blew up… in the same formula as appetite for destruction Guns N’ Roses released in 87 but didn’t takeoff until 88… welcome to the jungle video

Nothing against Pearl Jam I like them too, but Nirvana was the leader of the grunge movement. In fact, Pearl Jam seemed kind of “poppy” in the moment. Nirvana’s first album was two years prior to PJ releasing their album.
