You won’t need to wait 28 days for framing to start on a slab but keep an eye on the driveway 🧐 4️⃣ Brick isn’t waterproof. The real protection is behind it. There is an air gap that meets the house wrap. Any water will find its way through the weep holes at the bottom of the wall. 3️⃣ Nail pops will show up. Wood shrinks and moves as it dries. Small drywall pops in year one are common. It’s not always poor workmanship. 2️⃣ Bigger HVAC isn’t better. Oversized systems short cycle and don’t dehumidify properly. The right-sized system beats oversized every time. 1️⃣ Your framing will likely have mold. Most framing mold during construction is surface-level and cosmetic.
