Caleb, Jayden, Drake, and Bo all individually have more playoff wins in two seasons in the NFL than Herbert has in 6. In fact Herbert in the playoffs has been a historical choke artist and played well below average even.

He's damn near the most statistically successful quarterback through a careers first six seasons in NFL history, has led a bunch of game winning drives in his career too. The only knock on him is he's had his three worst games in the playoffs but he was also undefeated in prime time games last season. Yes he needs to play competently in the playoffs and he hasn't done that yet but with his traits and production there's very little to justifiably knock. Any other quarterback on the Chargers and they don't even make the playoffs

I will die on the hill that you cant be an elite qb until you win a playoff game. Like you can give him all the excuses in the world, a truly elite qb can win at least 1 playoff game, he can lift his team to 1 win. And its not even like Herbert has been mid and his team failed him, he's genuinely been awful in the playoffs at least 2 of his 3 trips, and the Jacksonville game there's a good argument as well

Just blatantly ignoring the fact that he’s carrier every roster he’s been on? 5k yard passer, one of the least turnover worthy QBs since he’s joined, top 3 in 4th q comebacks since he’s joined. When he’s been hurt they haven’t won a single game. He’s the reason Brandon Staley wasn’t fired after 1 year. Look at his stats when his team and weapons are healthy and playing well. He finally starts to look poor when he’s on tackles number 6 and 7.

I mean we’re just bashing Justin Herbert like he doesn’t play for the poverty chargers and I guess 11-6 back to back and 10-7 he led to us and and he has like the most passing yards through 6 seasons and completions and etc in nfl history and has thrown for 5k yards when healthy, in 2023 he got injured and 2025

Herbert plays behind the worst O line in football this year. Backups at the tackles one average guard and his two RBs miss majority of the season but sure blame. Yet Nick will make excuses for his boy lol the o line was bad not his fault, the skill group bad, etc
