@dudetalkstech: AI agents are finding bugs faster than we can patch them. Welcome to the Chaos Phase of cybersecurity. 💻⚠️ #cybersecurity #windows #ai #hacking #Tech
These are vendors’ drivers bugs, not windows “kernel” bugs, and only 14 were “confirmed” by the discoverers, with only 1 actually being assigned a CVE; Logitech device driver. AI is literally a plague in cybersecurity and is widely reason for a ban/block if the researcher uses AI to “find” vulnerabilities because it will actually turbo hallucinate, so to say 200 vulnerabilities have been found is just over exaggerating and fear mongering. The chaos phase of security as you put it, is not that AI is breaking through systems, it’s that AI is being used to pump out nonsensical slop bug reports and overloading maintainers’ capacity. Curl even went as far as closing the ability for researchers to submit bug reports because people were just submitting AI slop reports that were complete hallucinations.

If you look at the published CVE records for Windows and put that in perspective, it’s not spectacular whatsoever

AI can help analyze code and detect common vulnerabilities, but it cannot fully detect or bypass systems protected by strong firewalls or custom security layers. Many real-world vulnerabilities require manual testing and human expertise to identify. AI tools mostly rely on known patterns, so sophisticated or hidden exploits often still need to be found manually by security researchers.

Feels like the 2000s series Battlestar Galactica, where AI/robots have taken over and these escaping ships and to stay disconnected and off network most of the time to avoid their networks being hacked

The real move is to realise that probably 90 of these 100 were just crashing the and cannot be exploited, and the rest are explotable only on the second new moon in a retrograde Uranus.
This is just more nonses hype.
