My first shift they sat me in the back and told me to watch the training videos. Ten minutes into the videos my manager comes running back and say “we have a rush I need you on the floor asap!” Like girl what???

I worked at subway and never got trained. I was serving customers on my first day and would just ask my co-workers how much and what meat goes on certain subs when im asked. It aint hard to figure shit out on your own

I’m glad I worked for Timmies from 2014-2016 because they made you watch 40 hours of paid training videos before you actually faced customers. Management has definitely gone downhill since then

as a manager, the best advice I will give you, always try before looking at us. look at the screen and see if you see the options. just take your time and read what it says. Typically you can press anything and nothing will get messed up, long as the money is there, you're completely fine. you got this work thing!

I worked at Tim Horton's for a month and I was told I'd get 3 days training on cash/drinks and food. That never happened. I was also training new employees (not fully trained myself) because their trainers would sit in the back and talk shit about us. Would not recommend.

I work at a Tim hortons in the basement of our hospital, we only do the breakfast sandwiches and only half like half the menu that regular Tim hortons have so it’s pretty chill tbh and I love my boss lol
