My husband takes very expensive meds, there’s no way we could pay for this without ins. This is a good idea until it’s not. I agree the system is so broken but some of us have to have it unless you have a solution to the rx.

Had a friend who’s husband had a healthcare crisis and was in intensive care for 3 weeks, wracking up over $200,000 in bills. That’s why people need it.

Agreed. It's hard for people to understand though. I recently went to a Dr visit and he was so appalled that I didn't have insurance. He said "it's kind of unfair you're not contributing to the pool and then expecting a cash discount "😳 I just opted out of the system it's nothing I should be shamed for.

We’ve not had health insurance since 2021. Saved tens of thousands of dollars not paying monthly premiums, never would have met a deductible since most of our healthcare choices are preventive and holistic medicine. My only concern is if something major were to happen to us.
