Trichotillomania is a beast. My daughter had it when she was a toddler and ripped the entire side of her head bald.. She also ate it. 🤢 Well because she was a toddler… it was the WORST habit to break and her therapist said she would probably deal with it the rest of her life because it’s one of the hardest nervous habits to break. Just a little perspective incase anyone is swing by and trying to judge.

I don’t want this to sound rude at all, but why do you pull your hair out? Im just asking so I can learn. Is it a coping mechanism or a condition?

Trying to embrace your hair where it’s at is such a hard but powerful step 😭 especially when you’re rebuilding after loss. I remember watching my hair thin while dealing with heavy 5 day periods, fatigue and feeling depleted overall. I blamed products and routines but felt stuck. In a women’s forum someone mentioned Eat like a woman protocol by Loren Green and I read it out of desperation. 28 lbs down, 3 calm day cycles, steadier energy. Once my body felt less drained, my shedding slowed. It felt like growth started underneath first.

Wouldn’t a wig topper help? So the parts that you pull is covered? 🥹❤️
