Here is a SIMPLE yet effective solution to this problem; STRATEGY. "Social Media Strategy" is defined as the deliberate plan a person or business uses to achieve specific goals through social media. You can not implement a strategy is your goals as a business are not spelt out. And by goals I don't mean "we want to make sale" I mean; "SMART" goals. You can then build plans around this to help you drive your goals. Plans like, so sorts of content to post [marketing, branding, viral, etc...] when to post them and where.
