Coprolalia is the tendency of crude ticks to be the"Worst possible thing you could say" at any given moment. A well adjusted adult would be able to acknowledge that in that scenario that was the worst thing to say. So imagine, this man, knows he cannot trust his voice, so he's going to be especially aware of this, and as a result, his mouth betrayed him. the ticks do not define the man. He apologized for something he did, something he had zero control over. he's done everything he needs to, and he absolutely still feels like garbage that it happened. he has faced all of the accountability that he needs to.

I have two kids with Tourette’s and coprolalia. It is absolutely not fine in purpose! My sin carried a spare hoodie so if he shouted offensive words wouldn’t be heard! He cried if he did and isolated for months, in fear if what ppl would do, because his sister who also had it and me have been physically assaulted by men due to her coprolalia
