@elinacher_: #linkinpark Formation and Early Years The origins of Linkin Park can be traced back to its founding members Mike Shinoda and Brad Delson who met while attending high school together. They recruited other musicians including Rob Bourdon on drums, Joe Hahn on turntables/DJ duties, Dave "Phoenix" Farrell on bass guitar, and Mark Wakefield initially served as lead vocalist before Chester Bennington joined later. In 1999, after several lineup changes and name alterations (Xero, then briefly Hybrid Theory), they finally settled on the moniker Linkin Park.
