I paid a €2,300 deposit to an authorized Volvo dealer in Prague — no contract, no written terms, and no clear notice that it was non-refundable. I canceled well before production, yet the dealer refused to return my money. A refund was only offered if I signed confidentiality and penalty clauses, which I could not accept. Volvo Czech Republic provided no assistance and told me to deal directly with the dealer. I also contacted Volvo HQ in Sweden and received no response. Is this really the level of customer protection associated with Volvo? I’m simply asking for a fair resolution and for Volvo to take responsibility for how its authorized dealers treat customers.
