Btw this wasn’t that long ago, my dad was in residential school too and he’s 52. He feels ashamed to talk about what happened. I can’t even talk about it either, the way I see a grow man broke down talking about the horror he went through was heart wrenching. He held he’s heart crying…HE HELD HE’S HEART CRYINGGGGGG!!! I will never forgive them for what they have done to him!

Do they not teach this in school in the US? I’d say starting in the second grade all the way to 11th you learn about this in Canada

Australia did this too, kidnapped them and brought them to “schools” to get rid of their culture, then were sold off as basically slaves or probably forced to have children so it could be “bred out”. We were forced to watch the movie on it called “the rabbit link fence” or smth. I cried watching how horrible the stuff in the movie was.
