@inspector_fletch: Are we protecting the foundation… but sacrificing the sidewalk? 🤔💦 Everyone worries about getting that downspout away from the house (which yes, absolutely)… but then it dumps straight onto the walkway like it’s a splash pad. That concrete can take just as much undermining and settling — and when it drops, now you’ve got trip hazards, pooling, and ice rinks in the winter. Water always wins.
