From what I learned, Jesus is the 2nd most important Prophet in Islam, just under Muhammad. Islam is also the only other Abrahamic faith to revere Mother Mary. Both of which are mentioned in the Quran. We are all people of the book. Just different books in a trilogy. We all have our favorite. 💁 I’m Catholic but I have nothing but love do my Jewish and Muslim siblings. We aren’t all that different. It’s politics, not religion that divides us on the world stage, and always has.

Am I understanding this wrong or is Islam essentially following Christ conciousness/living as Jesus lived? I am not religious, but I often say live as Jesus lived because doing so is loving and having humanity towards all people and is the best way to get people to understand how I walk my path. I love every single person, even if I haven’t met them. I treat everyone with love always.

I have been brought up as a Christian but lately with how this world is going, I’m finding myself gravitating toward Islam. It’s just making sense to me! It’s one spiritual war that I am fighting but the more I see on Islam, the more I’m questioning my religious upbringing.

I just took my shahada, born and raised Christian and I truly appreciate the clarity. It’s understanding loving Christ fully means to honor and love God first. The first commandment. This is so important for my connection with God
