@homehealthhustlenurse: Two Florida nurses posted on TikTok. One lost his job. One reportedly lost her license. Here’s the part nobody talks about: If you identify as a nurse online, you’re never fully “off duty.” Your employer sees reputation risk. The Board sees public trust. And once something goes viral… you don’t control the narrative anymore. This isn’t about staying quiet. It’s about being smart in a profession that holds you to a different standard. Was it accountability - or overreach? #NurseTok #NurseLife #HealthcareNews #Professionalism #RNReality

Yes. As a nurse myself, I don’t understand why people are so bold sharing certain opinions online and then act surprised when there are repercussions. Freedom of speech doesn’t mean freedom from consequences

I have seen a lot of psych nurses making fun of their patients. Unacceptable.

People need to stop adding their coworkers too. Leave work at work.

It’s the refusal to treat someone based on their political affiliation, race, religion, that is an excusable in any profession for especially ours

I was a nurse for 41 years. Never posted a thing on social media regarding anything “work related”.

I WANT them to post. I want to know if the person I’m entrusting my life to is incapable of separating their politics from their profession. The entire concept of allowing political beliefs to determine the care or lack of care provided is insane

I was fired, very petty and I feel it’s political. I did not care my boss was liberal or coworkers! Evidently they did!!

"once a post goes viral, you no longer control the narrative" good advice for everyone.

As a chronic pain patient, I’m sick of all the jokes about people “seeking” pain medication for genuine issues. Are there people that do that, yes. However, the chronically ill community is sick of being treated like dogs.

I don’t know why nurses keep doing this. You cannot go online and post these rants and talk negatively about your employers and patients. All it takes is one or two people to see that post and you will be found. Everybody tells stories, but actually bashing your employer and patients you cant do.
