I think there are natural laws, but, they are difficult to ascertain, and impossible for all people to agree on. The law should strive to be as close to natural law as possible but it will never be able to achieve this perfectly, which is unfortunate.

I think one can find new natural laws, even if most others won’t participate in them. Laws such as empathy and respect are baked into most societies

I think our laws can be stress-tested so to speak by invoking logic and therefore can and should be subjective. The "law" beneath them all is really just the golden rule haha. I know it sounds trivial, but if we consider how we would want to be treated, enacting that universal "code" is easy. we understand the entirety of humanity by understanding ourselves... because we are united on that front.

No, because good or bad is a moral evaluation done by a conscious mind with some goal/outcome. You won't find anything in the universe telling you that decapitating someone is generally bad. You will find that it kills the person, but good or bad requires some criteria which reality doesn't give.

Chimps, for example, have no idea what law is, but they sti manage to figure out their social relations. We're more sophisticated in our efforts to do the same, but way more stupid for thinking there's anything sacred about the rules we develop.
