this hit hard!!! I am literally googling private tests as the symptoms are the worst and I live with chronic fatigue and pain for years. I know this is different. I am feeling abandoned roght now I can not cope. needed to see this. my nana and brother have hashimotos and they know that.

My gp won’t test my antibodies and refused to refer me to endocrinologist, I am on 225 mg levothyroxine which is high dose I was on 250mg at one point and no change in symptoms at all, they only test my tsh every 3 month

I have an underactive thyroid and I’m on 200mcg of levothyroxine, if I was to have the test for hashimotos would it still show up because I’m on levothyroxine?

I go to Loch Lomond ♥️the coldwater give me relief ♥️the fatigue is insane with thyroid issues but don’t wait for it to go ♥️I j wasted about 2 years of my life waiting for the meds to work and they didn’t ♥️This post so reminds me of me 3years ago ❤️❤️❤️❤️♥️♥️

The whole medical system in UK needs an overhaul…sadly the GP is not equipped with skills or knowledge that requires specialist inputs and patients left to suffer

I feel for you ❤️I was diagnosed with under active thyroid 6years ago the fatigue and lethargy was insane . Unfortunately the medication done nothing . Stress and lifestyle is a major players .❤️❤️❤️

The thing with thyroid issues is, even when your levels are stable & symptoms should lessen or go away, they don't alot of the time. I have graves disease & levels are stable but it still causes me sooo many debilitating symptoms it's exhausting 😭

my doc said exact same about my thyroid as well think it needs to be at certain level before they'll do anything. xx

Im in the same boat, doctors will do nothing for ne either, my anti tpo antibodies were around 292 or something. Havnt tested ne in ages. 😔
