This is the first bag tag tutorial that I’ve seen where you have a small piece of foam and so it AFTER the design! Off to try this now, as I’m new and when I tried the design in the foam…lots of bird nesting!!!! Wish me luck!

Even when I cut the fabric so close I still have fabric pieces on my side of my border and I do two rounds of satin stitch

How are you getting your edges so perfect without foam showing !!!!! I’m using appliqué scissors and cutting literally as close to the thread as I can without cutting it (and actually have cut it occasionally)! I know most people use 3mm foam and I only have 2mm from Hobby Lobby, so I’ve been doubling recently. They’re a lot more sturdy and not flexible with two 2mm rather than one, but I’m afraid that’s why my foam is showing so badly?
