Idk I’ve seen this kind of thing before. It’s definitely not right but when one person has emotionally checked out of the relationship sometimes the other person acts out trying to get their attention back. They should have ended it before it got to this point but they were travelling and working together, makes it more difficult :/ relationships are complex! There’s very rarely clear rights and wrongs.
