I tried booking but never got a reservation. I thought it might be just a tourist trap… It’s not. It’s this famous for a reason, and rightfully so 😌 I recommend coming on a week day outside of high season, otherwise you’ll have to wait for a seat. The views of Lisbon and the 25 de Abril bridge are unmatched, plus the food is actually VERY good - not overpriced at all for the quality, portions, and location -, and their house wine? Try it ✍🏻 Here you’ll find typical Portuguese dishes, I recommend “peixinhos da horta” (fried green beans) with tomato rice, the grilled sardines, sheep cheese from Alentejo, and their brand white wine 🍷 🚗 How to get there? You can take a ferry from Cais do Sodré to Cacilhas for 2,40€ round-trip. It takes 20 minutes and then you need to walk about 1km. Otherwise, there is a Fertagus train connecting you to Pragal. If you search on Google Maps, it will tell you the nearest station from you, and all of them are well connected by metro around Lisbon. From Pragal, you’ll need to get an Uber or Bolt for 10 minutes. Don’t forget to add this restaurant to your list for your next trip to Portugal 🫶🏻✨
