I learned the hard way, if you forgive your partner for cheating you first have to "forgive" the other person. it doesn't make sense to be mad at a random human jut because your partner dosn't respect you. it's only your partner who is in the wrong. only exception: when the other person is also a person loyal to you. and even if I don't get and judge people beeing the affair knowingly there are not to blame. most of them get manipulation and lies in the same dimension you do

For me, there’s a few issues here: the narrative that the partner was heavily pursued by the woman he had an affair with I feel lacks of accountability and sounds like excuses/blame shifting. I think also it sounds like OP is not over the whole cheating situation and maybe is avoiding dealing with how it made her feel hence why seeing the woman at her work was so triggering for her. I also find it really quite unhealthy to have such anger and hate towards someone that has an affair with your partner that you have zero relationship with yeah you can think of they’re a horrible person but ultimately the only person that disrespected you is your partner so I think this goes along with the first point of blame shifting that the outsider becomes most of the problem so the person that actually cheated in the relationship doesn’t have to be accountable or take the full blame. I think it’s wild that people can have supposed hate for someone they don’t know 😳🤷🏻♀️
