@fee.fits: Why do some outfits look cool and others don’t? And how do you achieve that with your own closet? Cool isn’t a personality trait reserved for “cool girls.” There’s actually a simple formula, and I’m going to show you how to apply it. When an outfit looks cool, it’s usually because three forces are working together: class, edge, and ease. CLASS — what makes an outfit feel polished, timeless, and put-together. Think: tailored blazers, classic white shirts, ballet flats, straight leg jeans. EDGE — what gives it tension, modernity, or something unexpected. Fun sunglasses, chunky boots, modern bags, trendier denim, contrasting textures. You don’t need leather and studs — edge comes in many forms. (This is often the trickiest, so let me know if you want a dedicated video!) EASE — what keeps it from feeling try-hard and makes it wearable. Oversized tees, half-unbuttoned blouses, messy hair, hoodies, baggy jeans. This is vital in keeping edgy items from looking forced and classic items from looking boring. The goal isn’t to max out all three or balance them equally — it’s finding what works for you, your life, and your style. And once you know the system, you can break it intentionally.
