I was 8 months old when my dad died and I grieve as if I remember the day he died.. and all the things I didn’t get with him. Grief is literally WILD. Billy 1000% sees you in NY. He was waiting for you to arrive, bestie 💛🧸

The constant thoughts of “I need to call my dad and tell him this” and realize i can’t call my dad so sometimes i just don’t tell anyone because they aren’t my dad and i know if I don’t get the reaction I want it will make it worse… so I get it ughhhhh

I lost my mom when I was freshly 22. I’m now freshly 55. I still feel like I just lost her and I’ve lived several lives since it actually happened. Grief lasts forever when they’re that important to you.

my therapist told me that while i view my dad as the sunset, my mom is here and she’s the sunrise. i try so so hard to be excited about everything bc she’s still here. and i try to tell myself that all the good things that happen to me are his doing

I lost my dad 6 years ago. I was doing okay with grief. But I recently got engaged and am wedding planning. I got my wedding dress a couple weeks ago, that night it hit me so hard that he’s gone. It was like I lost him all over again truly realizing he won’t be here for my big moments. It’s so hard.

I lost my mom 6weeks ago and oh my god. I just spent 3 days in the hospital too cause I didn't take care of myself caring for her and horrible kidney stones I had to have surgery for. I just wanted my mom 😭😭😭
