I do that whenever I go out to a restaurant. If I have really really good service, I always make it a point to tell the manager that their server did a really good job because I feel like they always hear the negative side, but they don’t hear the good side.

I do this all the time at restaurants. "Can I speak to your manager"... the waitress/waiter is frantically trying to figure out what went wrong. Manager comes over... "Is something wrong?" ... "Nope!! we had the best service ever, our server was amazing and deserves a raise". I usually get a free dessert from the server 🤣❤️🤣 plot twist we both weren't expecting
