I can relate to his story. Drugs a women were a way of dealing with lot childhood trauma. I would check in to psych ward when i need a break to dry out. I finely got help with my addiction a child trauma. Started going to a 12 step group a counseling a actually taking my medicine a working with my doc. I celebrated 19 years clean on Feb 13. I haven't been in psych ward for 15 years. Saved my life.
