I can sort of understand why he lied because being bullied about something you cannot change does drastically affect you mentally, however I just don’t understand why he couldn’t have made up a different lie. Imo he could’ve just said he was involved in an accident and didn’t want to elaborate on it, that technically wouldn’t have been a lie
