I wanted to cry when I read my birthday card this year. I have been doubting my absence around my step sisters throughout the time my father married their mother. After moving in with them (after not living in the same state for five years) my reclusion continued. I feel like I’ve just now started to get better, but seeing my little sisters tell me they’re honored to have me as a brother hurt a lot. I had spent so much time doubting myself, and hating myself for not being around them, I overlooked that they don’t care about all of that. They’re just happy to have a brother.

The other day I got pointed as captain and that day I had to comfort a new teammate who was crying because she just couldn't figure it out. But as she was crying I saw myself in her when I first started so I hugged her and told her about my hardships in that sport and I never saw someone's eyes light up so bright before. That will always be my drag path because it altered my brain with how I see myself, my failures, and my victories.

It's still haunt me how the President of the company scolded me to a conflict that I didn't do, and my Manager wanted me to be the Fall guy to that conflict even though it was his lapses. But I am still planning to show up to work tomorrow. Thank you for this.
