That looks like an ACL to me you can hear a pop so she could’ve dislocated her knee cap and ACL gone I’m hoping that’s not the case though🫂🫂🫂🫂🫂🫂🫂

awe poor girl, hopefully she gets some answers soon!! My left knee has dislocated 8 times. my knee caps dont sit in the grove right, I was born with both of my legs going inward and thats why I have so many dislocations. I am going to get surgery in the summer time its called mpfl reconstruction and basically this procedure helps stop recurrent dislocations but anyways I hope your little girl feels better soon💗

i fear that happened to me and i had to have a full knee reconstruction and now have 3 screws and a plate keeping my knee together

Look at EDS/hypermobile syndrome. I had knee like that and me and my daughter have connective tissue issues.

Patella maltraction. My daughter had that happen. Stretched her ligament, but no surgery required.

I had that as a child/adolescent. what helped was strength training for muscle support of the patela but no surgery required (I'm 36now).

i had mpfl and tto surgery to correct this! i was maybe gonna have a trochleoplasty but so far the tto has solved the issue (a year out)

Oh poor girl... went through dislocations in middle school... major growth spurt... casted ankle to groin for months with a half moon wedge inside... waited years before I finally decided to have surgery... tibial wedge osteotomy with patella realignment... back then (23 years ago) the recoup was worse than a full knee replacement... Wishing her the best...

i was born with no groove in my knees for my kneecap to sit in. my knees pop and hurt regularly. i dislocated my knee about a month ago playing CO-ED softball at school, on the MRI my good knee, the kneecap looks like it’s sitting on a little hill lol.
