@all_about_artists: Vincent found color in FRANCE🇫🇷 but at what cost? #vincentvangogh #arthistory #artist #painting #arttok

odallyy :

Damn where was he before France

Salvy.doe✨🤷🏻‍♂️ :

He just couldn’t buy that many colors before France😭

deniz :

This is highly inaccurate. The first paintings you show are his works of “ Peasant Character Studies” where he tries to show the daily lives and hardships these people have with a realistic eyes. He truly respect peasants since he believed they are living with honor and hard work , the way god intend. And those times he siding even want to be painter but a priest. He use only earth tones and charcoal to give respect on villagers and mine workers. +
