HEAR ME OUT GUYS HAHA This is the greatest life hack for ppl allergic with NSAIDs or any sorts of drug allergy. Take antihistamine, wait for 45 mins to an hour, then take whatever nsaid pill u need. ISTG no adverse reaction.

same, and it’s hard so I just cry in pain especially when i have period cramps and toothache. Biogesic is the only medicine I can tolerate 😭🥲

same here!! but i found out when i was 12🥲be sure to check other meds that aren't marketed as ibuprofen too!! 'cause they may have other NSAIDS like Strepsils with Flurbiprofen that you may also be allergic to

Hi! Student pharmacist here:) just wanna share that what happens to Kuya may serve as a reminder for us not to simply take such medications despite them being available OTC since adverse drug reactions can occur anytime. I've experienced the same thing as well, nagtake ako Ibuprofen (Advil) kasi sobrang sakit na talaga ng ulo at pakiramdam ko. Yet despite it's proven effect, it's still important to consider what medications we should take, better try asking pharmacists first sa mga botika or go to the nearest clinic around you

Same here. You must be allergic to NSAIDs as well. Also, learned it the hard way. Mefenamic and other NSAIDs made me visit the ER the Epinephrine made me sleep so well though...

Need pala mag pa ER 😅😅 inaantay ko lang mag subsides yung puffyness ng eyes e hahaha. medicol din una kong na try, panic malala tinulog ko na lang kasi kala ko simple lang pamamaga hahaha sunod yung alaxan ayun dun ko na confirm na allergic nga ko sa ibuprofen 😅😅😅 mas malala allergy ko sa alaxan 😂😂 tapos dolfenal 🤦🏼♀️Paracetamol na lang talaga

Haha same! Took an advil for my headache way back 2022 and same din tayo ng reaction nag swell yungs both eyes. Im also allergic to mefenamic, took one for my dsymenhorria and ngswell then eyes ko after.

ano daw po explanation kung bakit may gantong allergy? nung college ko kasi nadiscover na allergic ako sa mga ibuprofen or mga pain killer na gamot 😭 eh hindi naman ako allergic sa mga gamot na yun before college

Alot of people are have allergies to ibuprofen. Stay safe. There are other alternative medicine you can take if you need pain relievers. Best way is to take allergy skin test just to be sure.

I remember one time, binigyan ko advil kawork ko kasi masakit daw puson niya (usually yan din gamot ko sa dysmennorhea ko), tas after an hour umiba raw pakiramdam niya and namaga mukha niya kinagabihan, turns out allergic din siya sa advil😭, ayun 2 days siyang absent sa work. Di ako aware na ganyan pala nangyari sa kanya sa 2 days na wala siya (di ako sinabihan ng workmates ko para di raw ako makonsensya🥹) sorry talaga kay Ate Amiiii😭🙇♀️
