@almakesmoneyonline: Did you know that praying for others is more important than praying for yourself? In today's biblical motivation we see one example in the bible of this with Job 42:10 and it goes like this: "And the Lord restored the fortunes of Job, when he had prayed for his friends. And the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before." I learned selfless prayer myself from homelessness people. When I would ask what they would want prayer for they would always say for somebody else other than themselves. One day it hit me that most of my prayer was about myself instead of others and I learned that lesson from these folks. It changed how I pray in my prayers have become much more fruitful. It's not that you don't pray for yourself anymore, but be sure that you're praying for others because some of them may not have anyone else doing it for them but you.
