After collecting your boarding pass, look for the SmartPass registration counters in the departure hall. Once registered, you can use the dedicated orange lanes and this can save you up to an hour during peak periods. The regular lines can get really long, especially in the evenings! Second: Claiming your tax refund? Follow these 2 important steps carefully 👇 Step 1: BEFORE immigration. Go to the Tax Refund counters in the public departure area. Scan or validate your receipts at the machines (some purchases may require customs inspection, so don’t check in those items if required). This step must be done before you clear immigration. Step 2: AFTER immigration
Once you pass through immigration, head to the refund collection counter inside the transit area to collect your cash refund. Some kiosks also allow card refunds, but cash is usually the fastest. Extra tips:
• Arrive earlier if you are traveling during weekends or holiday seasons.
