@thejourneyofabravewoman: I found so many issues with hotel accommodations for disabled guests. The beds are too high for us to transfer. The shampoo, conditioner, and soap are hard to reach because they are far from the shower head and hand shower and that's just a few of the problems.I honestly wonder who designs these hotel rooms because they got it wrong. Hotels should consult people with disabilities to make rooms truly accessible. I struggled a lot, and it was actually dangerous. I wouldnt be able to do it without my bed leaver, I have a travel one - put it on bed wherever I go. Always ask for the base to be took off, I asked in Orlando hotel and the matress America use us a silly height!
