I miss pubs and their random animal owners. There was a pub by our house that had a rottweiler who would lay on the floor quietly by the fire. I always sat and pet him. One night as they were closing up and we were getting ready to leave, the woman who owned the pub goes "want to see something?" I said yes of course. She goes upstairs and comes back down with a 2nd rottweiler, the tiniest pudgiest little butterball puppy I almost started crying 🥰🥰
