@lydia_hudgens: These are the things I wish I had thought through before buying my first journal cover. Things like size, leather quality, bifold vs. trifold, grommets, hardware, and overall construction can completely change how a cover feels once you start actually using it. I think it’s really easy to focus on what looks good at first, but the small functional details are usually what make the biggest difference long term. A lot of this just comes down to learning your own preferences, but these are the details I would pay much closer attention to now.
