@m.ch95: Exactly 5 years after my mother’s death, I took my daughter to introduce her to her grandmother for the first time. Becoming a mother after the loss of my own mother made me realise the reality of this dunya; that sometimes, your greatest happiness can exist in the midst of your greatest pain. I live with the hope that Allah placed my children in the arms of my mother before placing them in my womb. I hope she played with them, kissed their beautiful cheeks and they got to experience her selfless love - the love they were robbed of in this dunya. My heart aches to think my mother never got to see me become a mother. She’ll never know that I now finally understand how much she loved me. May Allah grant me the day where me and my children can run to her for the warmest, most welcoming embrace in the life that will never cease to exist, Allahumma ameen 🕊️🤍 #motherlessdaughter
