My sn turns 33 in June. I was gaslight until he was 15 months old. He has severe spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy. He does now live in supportive housing with is PARTNER and my GRANDDAUGHTER. It is a challenging life but full of so much joy!

Our son has cerebral palsy and missing the majority of his occipital/temporal lobe. He is amazing- so smart, so capable, so full of life & love. Sure he has some learning and physical differences, but he is also the absolute best.

Here in Mexico we have standards of care, and they specifically say "Believe the mother, if she says something is off trust her". im so sorry your doctors didn't knew that 🥺

It hurts my heart your pediatricians downplayed your concerns, but I’m very proud that you didn’t stop there and continued to advocate and listen to your mom gut. When my daughter was an infant, she had some head twitches that resembled seizures. Our pediatrician took it very seriously and referred us to a neurologist right away. While nothing was found on the EEG, it did empower me to not shy away from any concerns I may have. Your child is and always will be so lucky to have such a strong mom on their side ♥️
