Spot on, it’s scary to watch it in real time again I don’t remember a lot from the buildup to Iraq but I do remember the years after and seeing the death toll consistently rise. Same debates, same excuses. Our national security wouldn’t be in danger if we didn’t have 40-50k troops stationed across 19 bases in the region known for eternal conflict. That region has been at war since the dawn of humanity and it has ruined prosperous nations. May god bless our troops and my god protect them on their current missions. This war is not worth what it will likely cost.
